Hi & welcome.
Have you looked at the sample list? http://www.samplelist.com/Riflescopes-C3391.aspx Inventory changes often, so check it often. SWFA also offers a great line of scopes; both fixed and variable. Here's one soon to be released |

Can you tell us the distance you mean by long range. In your price range you can't go wrong with a SWFA SS 3-9 HD!SWFA is also comming out with a new scope next week,a 3-15x42 with a FFP mil quard reticle that looks like it may fit your budget & shooting requirements!

A number of people shoot 1000yds with a 10x so I think the 3-9 would be just fine. And would allow you to use your rifle for hunting as well. Most new shooters have a tendency to over magnify thinking that will help them shoot at longer distances. But if you must have more magnification than the SS 12x, or 16x would work as well. Plus have some money left over for ammo. But the 16x would be the max I would go. High magnification creates it's own set of problems.
This would be a good read for you. http://www.opticstalk.com/long-range-101-amendments_topic23969.html |
