How much money?
Leupold (FX-3), Meopta Artemis/Meostar are good scopes and not too expensive. Kaps, Docter and S&B are bettter, but also more expensive. There's not much choice here...

What power are you wanting it.
Hard to beat the value of the Super Sniper line of fixed scopes. 6, 10, 16, and 20 power. All under $300 |

For hunting, I'd probably go with a FX-3 heavy duplex 6x42 myself .
But if we're going for it............. |

Normally I would say the SS 10x HD, but for low light I would be looking at an IOR such as this one. Should give you a little more low light performance.

baikal --- are you in the US? If not Super Sniper wont be available to you. Leupold might and the FX3 6x42 leupold Heavy Duplex would work well for low light. If hunting at night you would be well advised to stay at 6x or lower with a 42mm objective or if you move to 7x 50mm or 8x a 56mm objective. Still the 6x42 is probably the best choice.

If you are looking for a fixed power low light scope for hunting, you should be looking at a 8x56 or something along those lines.
The best one currently available is the S&B 8x56. Meopta used to make a rather excellent 7x56, but I think it is discontinued. Aside from that, there is a fair number of nice 6x42 scopes out there. Generally speaking though, is there a particular reason you are looking for a fixed power scope? If I were looking for a dedicated low light scope for under $1100, I would get the Meopta 3-12x56 and be done with it. ILya

Just as a warning, trying to take a SS out of the country just might land you in Federal prison...

It is on the list of scopes that "should not" be exported. I am not real familiar with the rules, I just know you might have to some explaining at the airport...
