Ok, I never heard of Minox before until a day in the local hunting store. A pair of Minox 8x42 binos was at a table and I saw they were cheap so i tried to look through them. I was impressed - very clear and sharp picture and smooth focusing. They were both better and cheaper than my Vortex Diamondback 10x50.

So now im thinking about going for a Minox scope + binos, to have until I one day can afford a S&B scope + A leica bino.

The scope I want is a perfect all-around 2-10x50 ZA5.

What do you think of that setup, until I can afford the high-end stuff?

And btw - Do you know how expenisve til Minox ZE 5i will be?

Thx.

Minox makes some rather decent stuff. The scope glass is Schott produced and, rest assured, the Germans can design optics! The ZE5 i prices are on the SWFA website... they seem to be in the $1500 range and up. Good "Beta" scopes... IMO.
If we're not suppose to eat animals...how come they're made of meat?

Minox has been in the optics business a long time they were famous for their little cold war era spy camera.

I have that exact scope on a Tikka .308 and a 2-10 x 40 on a Tikka .308 WM. I really think they offer a lot of optic for your hard earned dollar
