Hi y'all i am looking to put a scope on a winchester model 70 chambered in 338 win mag , so i am asking for some suggestions

Distance to target and size / type target is needed to be realistic in making a suggestion but these are scopes I would consider strongly. 6x42 Leupold VX3 with Long Range Duplex.Trijicon Accupoint 2.5-10x56 with illuminated red post.

Funny, that is the same scope I was thinking of installing on my project once it gets assembled. Diavari is a great scope.

For a general big game rifle hunting both bush and open ranges, the mentionen Zeiss 1,5-6x42 with #4 is hard to beat.
It is discontinued, replaced by the Victory HT, but can still be found.
I just get hold of one here in Norway to a bargain price I have Zeiss Victory Diavari (with Lotutec and #4 reticles ) on my 35 Whelen and 308 Win, and they are crisp and clear with very good low light qualities.
