For this scope yes. The spec on the dot was under the manufacturing capabilities.

Sweet! I have a CZ 455 Precision Varmint Trainer that this will work on very nicely!

Also is this 50BMG capable as well? I am guessing yes.

This one is built off the classic line.  It is not build off the newer HD line.  Being built off the classic line is what makes it $700.  When they put one out off the new HD line, I dare bet it will be in the $1200 to $1500 range.

Then I'll buy one of those too! But really for the price, who can complain about a scope that will do 90% of what any comparable mag-range FFP scope will...and most I'd consider are $2K or more.
Reaction time is a factor...

Man, now I gotta talk my wife into letting me buy one of these.  Then I gotta talk her into letting me buy a rifle to put it on.  SWFA, you guys are always causing me grief.  Wink

I am a little confused by this.  The 3-9 is a $599 scope and unless I am missing something the only difference between the 2 is the 5x erector.  I know the 3-9 isn't HD glass but it is a step up from the classic line right?  At least it appears that way to me in everything I have seen.  Having said that most of the old classic scopes I have seen were before they changed over to the mil-quad reticle so maybe they changed glass then too?

So I am still a bit confused about why not the 3-9 turrets and hopefully better glass.

Do we know what the glass will compare to?

Thanks,

Scot

I don't know if the originals had full multi coatings.Another nice thing about this scope is the parrallex goes down to 6m,I beleive the originals went down to 10m.

The more I look the more I'm going to have to buy one.

I could have swore the 3-9 wasn't HD glass.  It isn't advertised as HD on their site and I was sure I had heard on this forum that it wasn't.  ARe we sure about this?
