Hey guys.  I'm about to take a trade on a rifle that comes with a US Optics scope.  So far all I know about it is that it's a 1.8-10 and in MIL/MIL and looks like it's one of their older scopes.  They don't offer a reticle like this anymore at least it doesn't show on their site.  Any information on this would be helpful like what this type of reticle is used for and maybe what I can even expect as far as performance for this type of set up.

Thanks for your help and this is my first post and it looks like this is a great forum!

From what I can see it appears to be a very basic duplex with some hold over marks it was probably used as a hunting scope with marks estimating hold over for 200 center 300 and 400 probably in meters and likely for one of the 30 cal rounds  308  30-06 or 300 WM hard to tell which tillyou get to the range. U.S. Optics does a lot of very custom ultra high quality scopes and Im sure that they could change the reticle for you if you would prefer something like their GAP reticle.  AWESOME scope I wish I had one Ive wanted one for years.   Welcom to the Forum.

They can do a reticle sawp, but it'll be pricey (these scopes are made to stay together, and take some real effort to get apart.)

US O stuff is quite dependable.

I don't know the reticle but it looks to have 2 alternate aiming points.

I would recommend you contact USO about this, they can give pricing for reticle change and can give you details on this reticle - as well as details regarding the scope's history.

Assuming it is authentic (and it looks to be), the scope is worth a good bit of cash, these are prized scopes - not necessarily with that reticle, but it's a minor gripe.

It is a nice scope.

+1 on contacting USO, the seriel number should be all they need to tell you the details.

Thanks for the replies guy and the welcome.  I sent a letter off to US Optics since they weren't answering their phones so hopefully they'll get back to me soon.

If anyone else wants to chime in feel free!
