Well I just ordered this Monarch 3 for a new Wby Vanguard S2. I hope I made a good choice.
I was looking at the VX-2 and VX-3 and Weaver GS. Since I own a Leupy MK 4 and a Weaver GS, I figured I will try the Nikon. Have only read good things about the Monarch. What do you think? |

That should be a great set-up. Those Vanguard S2's are suppose to be the bugs nutz. Scope-wise, that's a solid choice.

I am not sure of difference between the Monarch and a Monarch 3. I have the 2.5-10X42 Monarch and thoroughly enjoy the performance it delivers.

I just got that exact scope a few days ago. Very nice scope. I compared it to Leupolds and Zeiss at the local outfitter and it was every bit as good. Did you get the BDC?
