Need some help guy's.  I have an Remington model 721 (1949) long action that I am trying to mount an Weaver V 24 on.  Mounting holes are faaar apart.  I would like to do a two piece mount if possible but would settle for a full length Weaver/Picatinny.  Can you help me out with bases and the proper heighth rings?

Are both mounting holes on top of the receiver, is the rear on the side?

Is the scope a 6-24x42mm?

I would give Talley or SWFA a quick shout out tomorrow and ask them.

Rifle presently has weaver type bases installed on top of the reciever front and back, there are mounting holes on the side of the reciever for what I would guess would be a reciever sight. Yes, Scope is 6-24x42.  Present mounts are too far apart for the length of the scope tube.  Thanks man!

Ok, here's what I did!  I ordered the EGW one piece pic rail and leo QRW rings (low).  Will it work, as far height is concerned?  Thanks.
