Do all Bobro mounts now have the screws on the top of the rings? It looks like the mounts with screws in the bottom of the rings would be a pain.

Mine does, but I'm not sure about the newer versions. The Bobro mounts are superb, even with the bottom screws.
Bobro provides a short allen head wrench with the mount. Only 1 screw is a bit hard to get to.

What's your take on the quality of the Bobro, Mike?

Too early to tell, I need to put the Bobro through the torture test of firing
rounds, removing/re-installing, firing rounds again, multiple times and
probably won't be able to give a fair review until I do.

I will say that so far compared to my La Rue mount the Bobro is definitely easier on the rail when mounting/removing. It slips on like butter and doesn't mare the finish unlike the La Rue which started soon after I started removing/re-installing it. You also don't have to tweak (adjust) the Bobro like you do the La Rue the first time mounting it. The mount itself appears strong, secure and looks great.

This is the exact mount I ordered.

Of course I just find out that SWFA is out of the Bobro mount with the top screws.

Is it worth waiting for or should I order a normal Bobro from somewhere? All my other stuff to mount this scope is on its way.

You only have to put in the screws once. Only one of them is a little bit difficult. But its not to much of a big deal
Lifetime warranty and excellent customer service don't mean a thing when your gun fails during a zombie attack.

I wouldn't hesitate to get the bottom screws. Once they are mounted, it gives a very clean look to the rifle.
