I have to go to Germany for a few days for business reasons - I hate dealing with socialists... my last several post's purpose have been to get Europe bashing out of my system.

What is this problem you have with the Europe?
Silly silly American. You call yourself soul surfer. Is that how you slide life by?
Germans are very good tradesman and make much better optic instruments than silly Americans. The Leuupoold even makes the instruments in Asia. Sounds like yu jelous of socialist country.
You stay in silly America.

I'd love to go to Germany. I have known many nice Germans, and their engineering is absolutly amazing. I could go on, and on about German ingenuity, engineering, and invention, and the effects they have had on the world, but i don't have the time.My brother vacationed in Germany once and loved it there; said he'd go back in a minute. My dad took the Driving Across Germany tour on the U.S. Government plan, and has always said he would love to go back if he could; just on a different tour plan.
Yeah, they got some screw balls there, but if you had lost 2 World Wars, and been occupied by a bunch of Communist for 40+ years in the last 100 years, you'd be pretty screwed up too. They are still the financial powerhouse of Europe, courtousey of the Capitalist side of Germany. Give the Krauts a break. Besides they make the best glass and chocalates.

Their beer is pretty damn amazing as well. Road/travel systems are some of the best in the world. The Germans do a lot of things right. I enjoyed my time there immensely.

German's make superior products. If you doubt this statement, just go out and find a German and they will be more than happy to explain it to you.....................

I work for a company that has dealing in Germany... and I'm familiar with the one that Rustic is referring to. When it comes 5:00pm (or whenever their shift is done) they stop working and leave. Doesn't matter if there is a problem with a mainframe computer and millions of dollars are at stake either! We had to move some operations to Slovakia!

Awesome!! a pepe le pew showed up. The only reason "German" glass is "great" is there is no fear of bottom line failure with European companies. Their government's prop them up constantly meaning... the governments don't live within their means why should their companies and people in those country's do any different?? Yes, America is silly at this time look who we elected... TWICE!!! I am in a manufacturing business of a product that companies over there can't seem to accomplish. My trade "secret" sends me over there a few times a year. I do try very hard to stay in "silly" America... we can't get everything we want. ;) By the way... Soul Surfer is a movie. |

Good thing the people and the government are not one in the same. ;) Too bad the people have conceded all the power to the various German government's for century's now and show no sign of wising up... |

Not liking the vibe in here!!! I don't see how we can ridicule others ways when we have some many problems that need to be felt with here in America. Remember boys Actions Speak Louder than words! What we doing to change our path of a weak, lazy, free loading society? Just my thoughts this morning:)

This is true. We have a perfect example of what NOT to do... Europe. They could be as little as decade ahead of us in their failure in understanding common sense things like not living within their means/not overtaxing/restraining power grab/etc. Socialism has NEVER been able to be self supporting at any time in history... 100% fail rate. People are not equal in their skills, intelligence, in their timing, common sense, drive, ambition, etc. Leveling the financial "playing field" with the use of any sort of government makes a stupid idea immoral. Socialists in reality are control freaks who see the grass is greener on the other fence all the time - looking at what is going on across the pond and saying "I want a free ride" and not seeing they are in flames over there just as we are trying to put out our own flames here with more printing... of our worthless currency. I had a very interesting email that explained socialists effectiveness very well. In a college level history course a professor showed his students the effectiveness by giving his hole class the same grade which was the average performance of the class. It started out with a B average but the lazy people got more lazy and the smart goal driven people just gave up trying. In the end their was a F class average! Sound familiar????

Just like the European work ethic missed deadlines, rotten bottom lines and an attitude of if I don't get it done someone else will... someday. Race to the bottom. Just like here... food stamp/entitlement society. |
