Those are the types of scopes I like to have...  IF they can't perform to that level, they are of little use to me.

KB... got to ask you about this statement...   what is "so" useful being able to see "past legal hunting time" ?    Not sure I asked that question right....
I believe in being able to do whatever I need, whatever I want, with any scope I have.  I have different scopes because, you may not believe this, but, I am easily bored.  I also live in a very "rural" area with lots of "night creatures", coyotes, raccoons, BIG rats.  I don't want to have to go chase down a light every time I need to "address" the activities of a varmint.  If my scope allows me to see the target with available light, I'm a happy person.  I like being happy... it's a character flaw of mine, I guess...

sounds good.
I think you would fit right in..

my dad loved varmint hunting (and deer, hogs and gators!) and he used to joke:
"hell, I was 30 years old before I knew a scope worked in the daytime"

This makes total sense to me and I sometimes forget there are instances that we can shoot in the dark.  I guess I was thinking that I wouldn't need every scope I own to be up to that level, but if one has the means to do that (I don't) why not!
take em!

When you do return "home," you should join my deer lease.

For that matter, I'd be honored if you would too, Charles.

When I saw this thread I was like 'what?'

You are comparing the top og the line Zeiss scope to a Khales Helia C.

And still some people says they are about the same and not big differnce.

Then I for sure would go for the Khales, beucause (here in Denmark atleast) the HT is 3x the price of a new Khales Helia C.
