Looking for a Bench Bi Pod for my Remington 700 SPS Varmint 26" Barrel. It gets confusing fast are the notched legs better than friction? Harris makes the best I think? Need a Model number to look at.
Thanks In Advance!

Sinclair 3rd Generation F-Class bipod... it is the best and can be adapted for many situations, not just F-Class.

I was lead to believe that swivels are bad m'kay...  but what is better friction legs or the notched legs? Again its going to be a bench gun and sorry for not mentioning the swivel part, could you explain why ones better swivel vs non notches or not. Thanks in Advance.

the notched leg will not let the leg slide in and out when its locked. the none notched leg "can" slide from time to time. I prefer a swivel with a pod-lok. It makes leveling the rifle to the target so much simpler.

Swivel bipods are definatley the way to go. If it just a bench gun get the BRM-S, if your going to use it in the field get the LM-S. The LM-S is good for just about anything and my favorite size as well.
Get the notched leg model and KMW pod-loc of whichever you choose, it makes life easier.
Easy come easy go

Perfect. I couldn't agree more, though my Harris BP's are the older models with out the notches.

I'm rapidly becoming a fan of this. Lots more money than a Harris, (which I have also) but some nice features too.

Edit to add: This will not mount on a sling swivel. Picatinney rail mount only.

I prefer the Atlas, but a 9"-13" S model Harris with the KMW pod-loc (skip the knock-offs) is really good too all around.
Reaction time is a factor...

If you can spend the coin check out the X-Caliber  X VIP,they are expensive but look to be worth the price of addmitance.
