Now I dont know if the close out has ALL of the same features, but not much difference here other than the obvious price and the 3.5 vs 3?

Id pick the Zeiss Conquest with its rebate, but if the choice is between those they are so similar that I would pick the less expensive.

Yes the Zeiss rebates ended. I wanted to take advantage of the offer but timing was crappy.

Take the 3.5-10x42 you will not be disappointed. If you set the scope to 9 instead of 10 you get the same exit pupil as the 3-9x42. The only real difference is the 3 vs 3.5 at the low end, which IMO would not be a deal breaker for 100.00 savings. But that's just my opinion.

do the math, 42mm objective divided by the power equals exit pupil. 42/9 or 42/10 |

1. It helps to weed out the wacko's that type before they think.
2. Rules help to weed out folks with out a sense of humor. I like and most others here admire humor. |

Folks ain't got a sense of humor no more. They don't laugh they just get sore.

While I agree humor is great...not being able to edit a misspelled word or a sentence that just doesn't make sense after the fact is just nonsense.
I am on a huge amount of forums, moderator of some form in most, this is the ONLY one that doesn't allow one to edit. Their site, their rules....yes but I don't have to agree with it And yes I will be sticking around, thank you for all of the input I chose the 3.5-10x42

There is a thread called boost your post count under Almost anything goes. Even a single letter post counts. That thread has allowed some to exceed 10,000 post in a short time. It is there to override that forum rule.
Don't take my sarcasm personal. I even treat myself that way along with everyone else too. Welcome to the OT. Hang around it gets fun at times. |
