I got a look at a electronic range finding rifle scope from Swarovski it was very usefull and a little spendy. I haven't seen the Burris yet but they have been very innovative lately and I would expect it to be good. The thing that worries me about it is more along the line of where will the technology be in 10 yrs. I have lots of Hasselblad and Nikon camera lenses that are virtually worthless now that digital cameras have taken over. Computers and electronics are not designed to last a lifetime and neither are electronic rangefinders  - rifle scopes should be.

Sniper,

Your not going to find a review because Burris hasn't released those yet.  They will not be availible until August.   To my knowledge this is the only scope of it's kind.  You might try contacting Burris around the middle of August to see if someone has reviewed that scope by that time.  Their # is (972) 356-1670..

Do not forget Zeiss's entry into the rangefinding scope field. Not available yet but its coming. Its called the Victory Diarange, 3-12 X 56 .I believe its going to have a hefty pricetag. Its on the Zeiss website, for some reason I am having troubles linking to it.

On edit, looks like SWFA has them on their website. Waiting for a review.

That's right!  Zeiss is coming out with a range finding scope.  Here is a link to show what we know about the New Zeiss Diarange scopes....

http://www.riflescopes.com/departments/983/rifle_scopes/zeis s_rifle_scopes/Zeiss_victory_Diarange_rifle_scopes.htm

No pictures on www.RifleScopes.com yet, but here are pictures from Zeiss' website.  Go to the below link and in "Search the site" type in  Diarange then hit enter.....

Hope this information helps.
