My oldest son and I traveled up to southern Iowa the first of this month. He killed the biggest buck of his life.

Buck was bedded down in the woods in a depression and initially all we could see was his rack. Threw the binox up to get a better look, and about sheit myself. We were able to get within 70 yards before he became aware of our presence.

Upon the shot, the buck just rolled over and died in his bed. We gross scored him at 190 5/8.

My oldest son is absolutely ruined now as I have no idea what he'll be able to do for an encore!

Outstanding!

My "peeps" back home are telling me they are going into Northern MO to hunt whitetails in the past few years.

I hunted Missouri back in the mid-80's. Largest wt buck I've ever killed was up in northern Mo.
