Trickster you have been warned on this before.
Can anyone provide any information regarding these scopes?

(something smells fishy to me here...)

Thanks for the info Smile

I beleive hakko is a optics manufacturer. Most optic brands use companies like this to make scopes for them. Very few brands actually make the scopes themselves. There are a handful of manufacturers that make optics to whatever spec the brand pays them for. Bushnell, vortex, nikon, swfa, sightron, etc etc use companies like this.

This is my last warning.

I'm asking because I can't find them in any store anywhere, I don't even know the prices...

I have a Hakko Scope while the glass is just fine the limited FOV is just horrible the tube does not disappear it is very very thick at the edges.  The scope I have is with illumination and the Nightforce type reticle someone suggested it to me as just the same scope as one for much more and I haven't spoken to that person since.

I have a Springfiel Armory  GenIII 6-20x56 and have had it for about 13 yeas with nothing but high praise for it.  Great scope, all the way around.  Some people are just unlucky...

There's the old Hakko that Kickboxer has, then there is the re-formed company after a rather interesting circumstance occasioned a change in management a few years back.
I have a prototype of the nikon 4-16 x 50 tactical they built as the new company.
1st round was built to impress and the impression was negative, and they couldn't grasp why there were problems.  Mine is the 2nd try and it's Ok  but I'd never actually spend money on one of their products without a demo unit to try out first.

Per their website
The company was a break away reformed in 2005
They produced 4 lines of scopes in 2008  that was to be taken to the 2009 shot show
The web site has not been updated since.

3 of the choices that could be derived are

A.  The scopes were so advanced and great that they were hidden away as top secret. Not to be seen by the the public since.

B.  An investor was impressed, bought the company and renamed it.

C.  All the buyers were under impressed.

I have one of the old ones:

HAKKO 3x9x40 WIDE, ELECTROPOINT MARK VIII (Illuminated)

Illumination was intermittent when I got the scope (it sat on a SAKO Finnwolf that I bought)

I instantly removed the scope as it was not only the illumination that was dysfunctional, the magnification was effectively locked at 7x, the tubes interior was full of small UFO´s, the ocular was loose and the reticle would turn 360º as one tried to adjust the ocular......

I degraded the scope to the sick-bay and it´s still thereCool
