Well.....this old paratrooper is like a kid in a candy store...too many choices.

I am searching for feedback on optic owners and those that have tried optics around the following thoughts and intended use.......

Looking for an optic - single purpose on my Bushmaster ACR 5.56 with a 16" barrel

I want to be able to do precision fire at 250 + (NO RED DOT)

Where I live and where I shoot is routinely dark or in the shadows so a lighted ret option is a big plus for me.

I am going to mount a Fastfire 3 on a 45 degree mount for snap shooting inside 75 yards

"Thinking or Leaning" at a 1x4 so I can co witness but with the fastfire I could push the minimum up to a 2 or 3x

Price point - looking at oh...500 BEFORE mounts.

Thanx folks...just so many out there, would like some real feedback from owners and what you have tried.  Some of the models I will have to purchase blind as no one carries them so I cant give them a hands on looky look.

Anyone have any significant trigger time with the Nikon 3x12?

You may want to try the Tactical scope forum and you will probably get better feedback!
