Anybody using the 2 MOA Aimpoint M3?

As I understand it, they offer a 4 MOA dot and a 2 MOA dot.

I have owned the M2 with the a 4 MOA dot and it worked perfectly for CQB type situations up to 250 meters with no problems.

Maybe the 2 MOA dot offers more precision shots??

Sounds about right, but I give up how does it attach doesn't look like it uses 30mm rings like mine does.

UFriend:

It's identical to the older M2's other than increased battery life, a little more submersible, and the option of a 2 or 4 MOA dot, to my knowledge.

It mounts up with the same 30mm ARMS or Larue Aimpoint mount, Brother.

Hey, who's the pretty gal you posted in the photo gallery??

I emailed GG&G and asked the same question. 30mm rings, arms, GG&G etc,,,mounts work fine. I bought a "newly improved aimpoint cantilever ring" for my Armalite M15a4 carbine and ML3 optic. I like it a lot, plus BUIS' work better with the new GG&G ring/mount.

The rubber piece that you can barely tell is rubber in this pic can actually be removed and re installed. Once it is removed the sight can be mounted with any 30mm ring. You can then re install the rubber cover back over the sight and the ring. The body style is exactly like the older M2 versions.

Cool. I keep thinking I want a Trijicon Tri Power but you dont hear much about them since EOTech has been so popular.
