really undecided on a scope and need alittle direction Wink been looking and trying to decide for about 2 weeks. low light and descent eye releif is a plus, which i think all these have both...... been looking at these scopes

1. nikon monarch 2.5-10x42    $249 <<<-- like this but dunno if its worth the xtra $$$..
2. redfield rev 3-9x40              $189
3.vortex diamondback 3-9x40 $199
4. sightron 3-9x42                   $219
5. bushnell elite 3200 3-9x50  $199 <<---would like a 40mm but will use a 50mm


would really appreciate your thoughts on these..thanks in advance!!

The Nikon Monarch is a really nice scope! I would go with that one, but the Redfied Revolution is hard to beet for the money if you are on a budget. I have a Redfield Revolution 4-12X40mm on my 30-30 and i like it.

Reticle is personal preference... Zplex in my eyes is best plex type...other than that all i would look to is a #4.  Alot of variation in, just say, plex and #4, in different brands.  Power is equal across the board for brands.
