Looking for the 30-06 of spotting scopes.  I dont really need the biggest, baddest one out their but one that will perform pretty good in most areas.  Not sure I need the bigger 80MM, but not opposed to it. Prefer straight over angled.  The Zeiss is at the upper end of my budget and optical quality very important. Like one that works good from truck window and packs well also. Some that have my interest:
Leupold 12-40X60 HD
Zeiss 18-45x65 Dailyt
Bushnell 15-45x60 Elite
Pentax 20-60x65 ED

Vortex 15-45x65 Viper HD

The Leupy, Pentax, and Vortex are all solid performing scopes.

The Zeiss is built like a tank, but shows more CA than I like.

I had the angled Pentax and broke it, but it could have been a fluke.

If you wear glasses the Leupy has miles of eye relief.

The Pentax has the best image of your list, IMO.

I am not sure why you want a 60mm or larger objective, but since I purchased a Nikon 13-30x50mmED Fieldscope I rarely take out my Pentax 20-60x80ED anymore. The reason I mention the Nikon is your comments about using a window mount and packs well.
