I sat at the office all day. The Denver jaunt put me too far behind.
Here again today.

I would dove hunt a lot more if it wasn't so unbearably hot during dove season here in TX.

It looked cool down in Texas on the Weatherunderground this afternoon. Tulsa hit 104 today. We have excessive heat warning again for Monday and Tuesday. It is near 11 pm and it is still 90 deg.
The story up here is a lot of the Dove eggs in Oklahoma cooked in the nest this summer. I usually have 7 - 10 pair of doves that nest in the cedar trees around my property. This year I have only had one pair. The drought and excessive heat has been hard on all wildlife.

Next weekend is dove season for me, needed to spend this holiday weekend with my family. It's currently the 4th weekend of deer season here if you know what I mean. ;-)

Good luck to all you fellow dove hunters!!!

Not many birds. Need a ccol front to come through and bring some birds down.
