I have a pcp air rifle and i need to throw a cheap, nice looking and
clear and working scope that will do the job at under 50 yards for
under 150 bucks. Currently have a 4x32 on it which is isnt to my taste,
and prefer a high power variable from 4x(min) to 24x(max). Most of my
shots are 10 yards (sparrows) but i do like to pick off crows,
pidgeons, and squirrels off the power line 50 yards away with head
shots. My rifle has almost no recoil so any type of scope will do as
long as it's pleasent looking on the rifle :). I have no experience
with the cheapest simmons, leapers, tasco, bsa, barska, bushnell
airgun/rimfire scopes. I heard barska's suck but they do look very very
nice.. expecially on my rifle.. they look like 1000$ scopes... dont
know how it would perform though. If anyone has a suggestion into which
airgun scope i should purchase i would greatly appreciate it. There are
about 1000 choices to chose from but i dont like treading into cheap
glass territory without information. thanks!

Tasco is about the best for the money. I use them on .17HMR through .308 long range rifles.
It is well worth the money. World Class line is good quality at under $100.00 Titans are real good but more money. |
