Where are vortex scopes made, with what glass, and assembled by whom? Probably a dumb question, but I don't recall seeing this info. Of course there seems to be a lot of things I don't recall these days. Thanks,,,, Gary |

Some are made in the Philliipines some in Japan I believe

GWTX ;have a little info you might be interested in reading.
Called Vortex & spoke to Sandy she was very pleasent & was kind enough to give me the following info: Razor=made in Japan including the glass. Vipers=made in Japan including the glass. Diamondbacks =made in Phillipines,not sure of the glass. Hope this helped.

Illya you are correct & I guess Sandy may have thought I was talking about the hst.It does say Phillipines on my original Vortex 6.5-20.I was also under the impression that the Diamondbacks were all made in China!
