I'm looking for a new scope for my .308 and I came across the VX-R 3x9x40mm.
Does anyone have any experience with this model? I'm interested to learn how well the CDS system works and quality vs value.   This is Primarily a hunting rifle, Sitka black tail deer and black bear.
Thanks.

I used the VXR patrol which is very similar.  I liked it quite a bit.  It had dials just like the cds and it tracked very true.  Do you dial in correction allot?  If so I think it is a great platform to do so with.

The CDS has worked flawlessly for me so far. Very simple effective system and backed by steller customer service I had my dials just days after ordering them.

The scope is fine. Only you can decide if it's "good for the money". Cool
