I have a 34mm Premier Heritage 5-25x56mm and I am putting it on a Remington 700 SPS Tactical, and I'm using standard two piece weaver style bases is anyone running this setup?

Gappa, that is a very large and heavy scope. I believe I remember you saying it is going on a 308, but recoil will move a heavier scope more than lighter one. I would recommend at least 2 piece picatinney style bases, and picatinney style rings due to the square, deep cross-bolt.

But I have no idea what height of rings you will need.
If it is tourist season, why can't we shoot them?
