You will be able to.  What do you need a 20 MOA base for on that setup?  How far out do you plan on shooting?

The SS 10x generally has 100MOA of total adjustment (some a little more, some a little less, but never much less).  With your rifle/bullet combo, you'll have about 47 MOA drop at 1000.  The 20MOA rail won't hurt anything and will be useful if you try to shoot longer range.

Mine has about 137 MOA. When mounted on a flat Millet base, I think I had about 62 MOA of up available.

No problem out to 300yds even without the 20degree rail.

thank you all ..

so basically I could get both and both would work just fine.

any advantages of getting one vs the other, if I don't think I will ever shoot beyond  1 km...?

I guess if I take the flat one, I could  maybe switch for a scope that has less moa...

If you are going to do a lot of long range stuff, I would suggest the 20 minute rail, that way the erector stays more in the center of travel. But having said that, more scopes spend a lot more time at zero than dialed for long range anyway. And if I were just now buying one I  would get the mil adjusted one...

Pretty sure mine has about 120MOA.   The Super Sniper is the one scope that really was built with enough internal adjustment to do what needs to be done to work from 10  yds to well past 1000 yds. no matter if the base is flat or plus 20 moa or plus 30 moa.
