Which one or ones are you all getting? I'm thinking the 12x will do really nicely for me and my eyes.

I'll leaning towards a 12 as well.  Think it would make a great target scope.

I'm thinking the 6X to replace the fixed 4x on my .22 trainer.

They just started shipping last week, you won't find many yet.  They are however going to start to trickle in soon.  That said, the SS line has always been bulletproof as far as reliability and duribilty.  I would not hesitate to get one even with no reviews.  SWFA stands behind the SS brand 100%.

You should try putting it on the rifle first.  If it doesn't work... then you can shoot it...

Wonder if SWFA's warranty would cover such an event?

I tested a couple of 12x prototypes for SWFA a little while back and thought that they were nice scopes: a little more magnification than 10x without giving up too much of the exit pupil.

For daylight applications it has enough exit pupil for anything you might need and it will last you much longer into dusk than a 16x will.
