I have an inexpensive pair of Zeiss Diafun binoculars. They have oblong stationary rubber eye caps, simular to Steiners. They completely block outside light and I feel I get a better view. They give way and are comfortable on my eyebrow area. I like these binos  much more than my expensive ones with twist caps. Does any company make these after market to fit other binos and are they any good?  Thanks.

I was in a Sportsman's Warehouse a few months ago and they had a 'one fits all' set for sale.

Unfortunately, I don't think SWFA carries them, or at least I haven't seen them on the store site, but Field Optics makes nice Eye Shields. I have some and use them.

Send it to Zeiss for an "inspect and clean as necessary".  You might come out best that way, but I have no ides of what the Zeiss service policy with the Duafun is.

Other than that, I too use the FOR winged eyeshields on all of my keeper binoculars.
