Not a bad little scope ... I think the reticle design on the SS 1-6 is better though.  Im a FFP guy for everything but extreme long range (1500+ yards) and varmint shooting though.  Being SFP I think the Reticle needs some heavier stadia to speed things up.
Looks like they took the VX-R Patrol model, bumped the magnification, gave it a new name, and marketed it to the 3 Gun crowd.

I am on the fence between FFP and SFP for lower power scopes
Pros and cons to both of course

The VX-6 has better glass than the Patrol / VXR which is pretty darned good glass and better than the Accupoint 1-4 I have.

Also being a true 1x vs the Patrol 1.25

It's a very nice little scope that I would be happy to run for 3 gun

I call shenanigans on that FOV.  There is no way it's 223ft @ 100y (1x) or 39.2 ft @ 100y (6x).

Wow.  I want one.  Except I would probably have to sell the rifle that I want it to go on in order to afford it!     Shocked

.

I am just saying from what I've seen on paper. I have not seen either scope in person. The new leupold 1x6 looks on paper to be better than the ss 1x6, here is why ,this is just me. The leupold has a 100 hour battery life it shuts off after 5 or 10 mins of not being use?, it weight is less, I think from what I have readed? It will light up when the scope is moved, auto so you never worry about it, that is what I think I have seen once again I could be wrong I looked at it real quickly so if I am wrong on a few of these please correct me,Kev
