I think the list above is very solid, not much more to add.

I'd suggest the Z3 4-12 with the Ballistic Turret. I just like that feature (or the Kahles MultiZero)...

SVT thanks for the help, i am not a really big fan of those type of reticle, i like the standard plex, is the Swaro 4-12x50 with turrets a good way to go in my case, and how easy are they to set up? Or i was even looking at the conquest 4.5-14x50 with hunting turrets, either way do you know anything about how good they would work, and if they are anything like cds where i could just set the dial to a yardage and put the center of the cross hairs on the game and pow i have him dead. Thanks

Nothing works that easy. If anyone says a scope will, they are fibbing. Most good scopes will work if you do everything else right. Correct judge of the range, Angle of elevation Wind speed and direction Judge the speed of the target Barometric pressure Correct adjustment for temperature on powder Air density corrected for elevation and Humidity Correct dope on a bullet and powder charge that matches your rifle. Steady base Good trigger and add a little luck.

| All those things are common sense whether using dials or not. Dials work great... at least CDS do in my experience. I too like just a simple plex type of a retical clean with no dots, circles, hashes and the like.

Here is the BT link. It's not rocket science to set up. Just need to follow instructions.
What I like about the BT/MZ setup over target turrets because you can set it up for finite distances for each marker. It doesn't mean that you shouldn't practice at the range. I also like to use it for multiple bullet weights for the caliber.
Just my 0.02...

Just my 0.02... | I agree. For those of us who want avoid the tedious undesirable task of "guess hold-over and shoot" and would rather have more trigger time in the field as oposed to the range. Dials work great for tough hunting conditions in my experience.
