I have Talley's on both my Sako's (not the ones Billy suggested... the bases fit the tapered dovetail). http://swfa.com/Talley-2-Piece-Base-P4902.aspx
I believe you will need the medium rings though.

Talley is always a great choice. Would add Conetrol or Near to the list too.

http://www.conetrol.com/

Both companies make top quality rings and bases.

I must respectfully disagree.

These mounts are over priced crap, IMO. They simply don't compare with Conetrols, Talleys, or Near. Hell, I took my Opti's off and switched to Leupold rings and liked them better.

Talley. You will need medium from them though.

Hey CT...it's ok to disagree..and you prob, know better, but Can you explain why others are better? I have used them and they have performed flawlessly. When I spend $1,000-plus for optics... the price for the mounts are insignificant. Sako/Berretta make quality products with outstanding Customer Service.

Oh, I love Sako's and Beretta firearms, friend. I just hate Opti Locks.

Soft cap screws, the rings, even the low ones, typically are too high for a good cheek weld, $$$ for what you get, and all in all, just aren't a good mounting system.

Rifle Dude will chime in if he sees this thread. He's a hater too. Wink

I had a set on my old Sako M75. Went with Talley's and never looked back.

I saw your post asking what the torque specs were and you mentioned Bereta didn't know either??
They know how to charge you $8 a piece for a cap screw, WHEN you strip out out the soft allen head screw though. Allen head???? Seriously??

The Optilocks are heavy and "blocky" looking too.
