The Caribou, and the C-123 were cargo planes that I always wanted if I ever got rich. I wanted to convert one into a flying RV.

Actually, the idea was to get a container that would fit in the cargo hold, so it could be removed if needed, and building the living space in the container.

Worked for DeHavilland Aircraft in the 60's. Caribou, Buffalo and Twin Otter were the big sellers at the time and had amazing STOL capabilities. It's a testament to their engineering and build quality that so many are still in use. STill see the single engined Otter and Beaver all over the place up here.
