I am looking at the Burris Eliminator scope for my 338 Win Mag. I know they are relatively new but does any body own one or know of someone that has this scope and how do they like it.

I use one on a 30-06. It's drop is good out to 600 yards. That is the longest I have shot it to date. This scope is big but it is easy to use and after you get use to it not hard to carry thru thick stuff.

I would wait for the Eliminator III
There´s a lot of changes made compared to the old scope.

Yes I noticed that the Eliminator lll has longer ranging which I don't really need but I am sure it also would be a little better ranging closer than the old one.

Too bad they can't correct the "ugly" factor. I know... function over form ... but really. Those things look hideous to me. Whacko
