Jared's video is pretty sick. He's an incredible runner and as you can see a very strong mountaineer/climber to boot. I'm pretty sure he used the standard route up the slabs, so yes 5.5. From what I understand the video was actually filmed after the actual record run. He staged the shots of each section and ran them a few times to piece the video together, though his pace is supposedly representative of the actual speed during his record run, insane!

I would have died on that run several times over!

I have friend that I train with who trains with Jared in the spring/summer season. The pace they can set is incredible I works out real good for me come late summer and fall hunting season.

Jeez. The biggest hill I have to climb here is getting into my truck. That would KILL me dead.

That video is similar to the training I do all spring/summer time to get ready for my DIY spot and stalk fair chase on public land fall/winter hunting season. Although Jared a step ahead of me in the being in shape category.

Why don't you put that as your signature line so you don't have to type it every time. Wouldn't want anyone thinking you were hunting in a fence or anything.

Now lets see him do that in Multi Cam carrying an M240 Bravo. Then lets leak it to Afghan TV as standard Army training.
