Speaking of coyotes; last night, while walking the dogs, I heard a pack of coyotes howling, and yipping. I could hear at least 4 in this pack, and they sounded like they were  on the next ridge.
Life's concerns should be about the 120lb pack your trying to get to the top of the mountain, and not the rock in your boot.

One does tend to get holes torn in their britches when hunting hogs with dogs grabing the snout and the hunter jumping on the hogs back and killing it with a Kbar knife.
Its kind of like wild bull riding without the rodeo clown. Cool
