98% light transmission (advertised), BDC, Tactical reset knobs? Am I missing something or is this a steal?
Also side question, why do you want large open knobs on a BDC scope? I could understand a mildot long range scope where you are making adjustments but don't you zero it in once and use the BDC points after that? Never the less I think I might be picking this up, I was looking at a Sightron SI 3-9x40, not sure if this has better glass? |

I belive the P represents the prostaff level. Then up to the Buckmaster, Monarch then the Monarch X. My problem is that Nikon warranty is very hit and miss. I have 2 Nikon scopes at the Monarch level and I like them both for the price range. At that price the prostaff's are a usable scope compared to other makers in that price range. There is a big difference As far as light transmission. It depends on the wave length of light they are measuring. % of light means little if it is warm and fuzzy like a kitten.

Need to follow the rules. Just hard to determine which set of rules to follow Now the rules have changed again. |
