I have been looking for a scope for a Heavy Barrel, accutrigger Savage 93/17. I plan to use the rifle/scope for ground squirrells, rockchucks, and general varmints out to 200 yards. I have been going back and forth between a nikon prostaff, vortex crossfire, and hawke varmint...Just too many options.
Today I stopped by a local pawn shop and found an Original Burris Fullfield, 3-9X40 gloss in pristine condition in the box with warranty cards. Optics seemed great and so I offered him $75.00 and they took it!!! (had it marked for $130.00) I really think I got a steal and the optics are amazing for what I paid.
Did I get a good deal and a good scope? Will this do the job on my .17 for what I need it to do?

That should work just fine, you didn't over pay and if you decide in the future its not what you want you can always move it to another rifle.
