Grand SLam are good scopes. It is hard to do better for the money.

I will be shooting paper, coyote, and other varmints from 100-300 yds.
Between the Weaver Grand Slam and a Leupold VX-II which is the best bang for the buck????? Edited by cemtech12 |

The Weaver Grand Slam I think is a better scope than the VXII, not only for the money either.

Grand Slam is a better scope than VX-II. Grand Slam is
competitive with VX-III optically and has some of the best adjustments
at any price.
For your application, I'd go with a 4.5-14x40 instead of a 3.5-10x50. 50mm objective is more of a hindrance than anything else and the extra magnification is nice to have for shooting paper and varmints at 300 yards. ILya |
