Gentleman & Ladies:  need help on a 3-9X40 Taco scope--sorry about test-test-test but would not let me post for some reason--onward and upward  scope & weapon purchased used-have no paperwork on it--need copy of paperwork on this scope-- has some type of rangefinder on it or caculator -- not 30-30 reticle--has 30-30 reticle top side but a long stadia wire on bottom--top turret on scope has yardage amounts and animal names-- searching for instructions and a copy of instructions for this scope--cannot find a model number or a name on this scope  Thank You for your time  Litl Bear

Not familiar with it but it sounds like the scope is designed to allow you rangefind distance based on the commorn size of an animal say for example a deer brisket to back bone is about 18 inches where an elk is about 24 inches.  Once you know what animal you are hunting --- to estimate the distance to target you bracket the animal and look to see what the marks tell you the distance is.  It should show 2 representing 200 yds and 3 representing 300 yds and so forth, probably some mark that lines up with the scope power adjustment ring.
