Mornin gents. Mostly cloudy, 69 going to 87, with chance of T-storms. Loonyville has become a foodie town. We went to a restaurant that served hamburgers. It had closed several years ago because the owners retired, and it was a famous restaurant in the area for their cheeseburger. A couple of other restaurants open in the same building under different names but failed. The new owner opened with the old name, but added 80/20 to the name. You now have to make reservations to eat there. Mrs. BF and I had their signature burger with fries, an appetizer, and I had a beer. The food was good, and I left full, all for just $42.00 not including tip. Leave to Millennials to make a hamburger gourmet food.

Like I said, Loonyville has become a foodie city. A reservation to a hamburger joint, and 16 dollar plus hamburgers, and not a single double decker? And to think, the city ran a hole in the wall restaurant that served triple decker hamburgers that contained half a cow with a side of fried pickles out of business because it was a little redneck joint. I loved that place.

Don't think it's going to hit 87 today. It's been raining off and on all day, and it's rather cool.

Evening gents.
Got back from Frankfort about an hour ago. Was checking on my pension. Unless the Courts toss out the new pension law that goes into effect 1-1-19, I'll be unemployed before the end of the year. Mostly cloudy with high humidity and chance of T-showers or storms. Got one close by now.

No. It's an economic decision vs time, because of the change in the law. Starting 1-1-19 pensions will be based on high fiscal years, instead of high years from time of retirement. It's kind of hard to explain how things work now, but I will make a lot more money if I go on 12-1-18 than I would on 1-1-19, and not much more if I left on 7-1-19, which is the start of the new fiscal year. Under the current system, If I left on 8-1-19, I would make enough to warrant staying that long, but now that extra month means nothing, and I would have work till 7-1-20 to get the same amount.
This one time I'm rooting for our Demoncrat Attorney General, and his law suit against the new pension law. They also are going to tax our pensions. That's taxing money that has already been taxed when we earned it.
