I have read that Leupold Mark 4's have Chinese glass and was wondering if this is true or maybe I got some bad info?

I was under an impression that Leupold's glass came from Japan.

Mark4 uses the same glass as VX-III scopes, I think.

Yea it's rejected left over depleted uranium glass that was factory seconds at the Super Sniper factories in Heoishima and Nagasaki   -- Japan.

It's depository rad level is the reason they work so well in low light and in some cases no need for an illuminated recticle.

I think it's bad information. Only your Leo engineer knows for sure. But for a maker who prides themself for made in america, even if it were it would have to meet their specs.
