Good day to you all. I'm a recently retired 20 year Naval Aviation Chief Ordnanceman and I would like to commend you all at S/S, on putting together a great sight. Been looking at it for a while and decided to join it. I'm a bit of a Gun Collector and enjoy my share of shooting from trap to long distance, and recently I have finally broke down and bought a AR-50.                  It was a long wait to get her, but, a wait worthwhile. I also have that Monsters baby sister, the AR-30M in 308 Cal.  I have Nikkon optics on various hunting rifles, but would like a little help and advice on selecting a S/S for my 50. Can you give me some input and what you think would do the job on that Monster. Thanks...
How I love the smell of Napalm in the Morning.

Show us some pictures if possible. I like to see the Ar-30M.

If you are planning to buy the Super Sniper the most enjoyable choice is the 10 x M with side focus.  I have a 20 X and really think I would prefer the 10 X.  In a variable I dont have any problem with the 8.5 -25 Leupold but I can still use it at 8.5 then just crank it up to look where the holes are. But in a fixed power if you will do anything besides paper only get the 10 X .
