I was wondering if I could get some help making a decision on optics for a Browning 270 Xbolt-  I dont want to spend for a Swarovski or a Zeis but I have have had Leuopold Vari X II 3.5x10x50 and have loved it.

I am trying to compare these three scopes:

Leuopold VX-3L 4.5x14x56 ILLBC Illuminated B&C Reticle
Leuopold VX-3L 3.5x10x56 ILLBC

Both Leuopold are the low profile scope

Trijicon 2.5x10x56 TR22-1 Standard Crosshair dot

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks!!

I only have one Leupy (VX3 2.5-8 X 36) and one Trig (3-9 x 40 green triangle). I'll take the Trig any day (for low light applications). I will say the 56 Trig is one big ole' beast of a scope! Big Grin

The glass and mechs are most likely a wash --- leupold has the best warranty-C/S in the business in my opinion. The low profile scope would be a big selling point. Weight is important to me.

I am still a firm believer you get more for your money looking other places than leupold with teh exception of the VX-R, they did that right.
