Just wondering who makes the Super Sniper scopes? I have heard it is either Hakko or Asia optical. Were there any major changes to the scope design from the originals? Thanks for the info.

Hakko makes them, and they are one fine scope.

The factory that makes them is proprietary information.  They have always been made in the same factory in Japan since their inception and they have always been built to the same specs.  Nothing has ever changed.  There is a fraudulent dealer claiming to sell super sniper scopes made by Hakko.  Hakko makes fine scopes but they have never had anything to do with our Super Sniper.

It might be Light Optical Works, Ltd.  They are a OEM manufacturer in Japan.

THIS IS JUST A GUESS. I'm guessing because Hakko and Light Optical Works, Ltd. are the big OEM manufacturers overseas.

But who knows where they are made?

I hope this helps.

Didn't we all finally agree that it is made by Kenko in Japan?  At least that is what the sticker on the scope says.

Ah! Another who belives that if they buy another scope from the same manufacture they  will get the same quality and cut out the middlemanthus saving a few bucks. This is the same logic made by some who buy a Bushnell Sharpshooter and then turn around and bash the quality of an Elite 4200 .( They are made by the same company) duh! There is a great difference in the quality and specifications in the design.

Cheap:

You're right, who cares where they're made? You can still buy them right here at SWFA. That's the point!
