I currently have a pair of Vortex Razor 10 X 42 binos that are about a year and a half old, in 99% condition. I’m really interested in making a jump up to their HD glass binos, but no way I can shell out $1200. Any ideas on how much I could get for my current binos, or anyone know if they have any kind of trade in program? I absolutely love the binos, just want to get all the low light capabilities I can get. |

Merely making a switch from non-ED to ED, in the Vorex Razor, is not going to increase light gathering capability.
You would have to increase aperture to see a significant difference.
Going from a 10x42 to a 10x50 would give you a larger exit pupil and brighter images in low light. Edited by Bird Watcher - November/10/2011 at 16:40 |
