I also agree with Wes. Any rock that could make it thru the windshield would leave a much bigger hole. It would crater the glass also. That looks more like a high velocity projectile.

I do NOT believe that is a "rock chip"... I could be wrong, but I would lose a lot of money over it...

What vehicle is that? Looks like an old military vehicle with flip-up windshields. That's def not a rock chip! I'd lose money on it too, Kickboxer.

I honestly have not idea what it was.  It happened so fast I don't think I really comprehended what happened.  I know my brain registered an object coming really really fast at me.  I remember whipping my head to the side and turning it at the same time, then an explosion.  Glass when all over the place.  stuck in my left hand on the steering wheel.  Showered the side of my head.  Ended up all over in my hair clothes, all over my lap and the floor.  I can't find anything in my cab, and there are no holes in the seat or cab to suggest it was a bullet of any kind ( I doubt I would have seen that coming).

It is a KW 600.  i think the flash was on on my camera when I took the pic, so it just looks a little weird.

That is rather high off the ground for it to be a rock.  What was in front of you?  I'm stil thinking it was a bullet possibly a 22 or a pistol bullet with not much velocity left but look on the floor etc and see if you can find it.  Whatever penetrated has to still be inside be it rock or bullet.

The hole appears quite round and rocks are not usually semetrical.

Were you behind another vehicle and fairly close? Maybe it kicked up a rock hard enough or something like a bolt lying in the road. I've seen all kinds of debris on highways. But it does look strange, that's for sure.

That was pretty much dead center of the drivier seat from  the  looks of it!!!

Thank God Drew was hurt anymore than some glass in his hand!!!!

Wonder if there was an overpass nearby?  What would make such a round hole and
not leave any residual waste?   A marble from a slingshot maybe!?!?

Not behind any vehicles.  The closest vehicle was a semi coming at me about 200 yards or more away.
