Can somebody please help me?  I'm trying to choose ring heights for this scope.  What is the outside vertical diameter of this scopes objective with Butler Creek Flip ups on it?

What brand of rings??

Medium height seems to be what most guys run.

If at first you don't secede...try..try again.

I did a search this morning on here.

A Remington 700, with a 20 moa rail will allow Badger standard rings for the Super Sniper.

Cheaptrick is right. If you want a little extra clearance go up a size. Military duct tape the lens covers to the scope or you will loose them in the brush.

Thanks for the info.  I think Badger is out of the running.  While I want great, I must attempt to meet some budget and I'm beginning to realize that a laser range finder is a must.  So that leaves me with Farrell or Warne.  They both seem very good.

. . .will do on the military duct tape. . .

Does anybody know this?

"What is the outside vertical diameter of this scopes objective with Butler Creek Flip ups on it?"

I have a set of 1" Warne Maxima ultra high rings with quick detach on a Bushmaster flattop.  They are rock solid & I would strongly recommend them to anybody.

Probably - but they are a really really tight fit on the 30mm tube.
