I'm curious how the Zenith line compares optically to the Diavari and the Swaro Z6 line? Sharpness. Resolution. Brightness ect. I found a great deal on a S & B Zenith 1.5-6x42 which would replace my Elite 4200 on my 6.8 AR. Edited by Scottyman - October/04/2011 at 02:54 |

I think you would be hard pressed to really see any differnce between the the 3, I have a 2.5-10 x 56 and am extremely happy with it.

I agree with glock in regards to the optics. In regards to toughness, S&B makes the toughest variables on the planet.

I have the exact same scope as well. Zenith is a good name for that series, as they're as good as scopes get. The only negatives I can think of to the Zeniths: they're heavier than competing scopes of the same config and they have limited w/e adjustment travel. By any measure, they hold their own against Zeiss Victory Diavari, Swaro Z6, Kahles C optically. Different eyes will prefer some aspect of the view through different scopes in that class, but they are all superb, and you will never get a consensus on which is "best." |

Also curious how the #7 non illuminated reticle looks at 6X in low light. Hard to see?
Will use for deer hunting. Would S&B install a flashdot reticle? Edited by Scottyman - October/05/2011 at 05:00 |
