600 Overkill is my next experiment.  I just have to get my wife sick of listening to me whine about it...

I'll tell you the whole true story.
I can purchase anything I want to, any time, she will never complain.  I don't purchase many things I want because there are things we need as a family that should come first.  I once sold a magnificent gun collection to make the down payment on our house in Kalifornia.  I had "other options", but gave up some really fine guns, some I'll never be able to replace... I've never complained about it, she has never forgotten it...
I was agonizing over purchasing the Hensoldt, sitting at the computer saying "I really should get this, I really should...", she told me to get up from the computer... I said "why", she said "I want to use it"... so I got up but left the auction screen up.  She punched "BUY NOW" and purchased me the Hensoldt.  I didn't realize it until the transaction was complete and she gave me the computer back... with the estimated delivery date on the screen.  She is just that way.  Most considerate woman on earth, at least in my meetings... If she asked me to, I'd give up every gun I own... I've still got a sword...

I ran a few thru her today testing and brake in. 210gr bergers at 3175fps with a quarter size 5 shot group. I also ran a few 230gr bergers thru at 2950 had a good 1 1/2 in 5 shot group. Both test load were very mild but acurate. I'm going to bump it up to see where she tops out. If I can get 3200+ out of the 210's ill be tickled. I also want to get 3150 out of the 230. I still can't decide on what bullet I'm going to stick with yet. Might not be ether if a guy comes thru with some custom aluminum tip bullets.

I got to go out and do a little more testing yesterday afternoon. I went with the 210gr bergers @ 3175FPS. I loaded up 10 rounds with 94gr of retumbo CCI mag primers. I set the bench up and ranged the target @ 200 yards 4 or 5 times. I'm just wanting to see how the grouping will be at 200 yards before I start playing with the load. So far i'm pretty happy with it. This was shot off and front and rear bag. I dialed in 0.4 in the super sniper took my time and fired all 10 off with 5 minutes between shot. I have no idea why the first shot was low left unless it was the fouling shot as the rifle was spotless from beakin cleaning. I think i'm might try to get 3200FPS and see what my groups do.
here's the results.

So very true, I'm giving the 5 shot super clean, 5 shot super clean thing a try. I did 25 rounds last testing now doing it 10 rounds super clean for 40 rounds. then shot it untill it needs it. so far its be failrly clean. The first shot was still in a "pie-plate". i'm good.lol.
