Thanks, all.  I talked to her for a bit Sunday and she's DEFINITELY HYPED and ready for regular season.  What's GOOD is that Warren is showing her how to actually hunt for game rather just setting up at a food plot or bait pile. She's definitely into it.  Guess I may be looking for rifle/scope set up for her.  I forgot to mention the scope on the rifle she used.  A 2-7x32 Viper w/C3.

A youth ruger or remington should be easy to find.  or you could fine a 243 or 7mm-08 and redo the stock for her to fit.

I'm thinking 7mm-08 to.  Whatever it is,IF she wants her own,it will be a carbine stlye.  She really likes her moms rifle and REALLY LIKES the C3 reticle.  Might have to do some w&d real quick to come up with the money for another Viper.

All I'm seeing is does and young bucks.
Life's concerns should be about the 120lb pack your trying to get to the top of the mountain, and not the rock in your boot.

Don't you mean a 4 point.  Wink

I'm somewhat torn.
Part of me says WOW, nice wall hanger for sure.
The other part wants to shoot the smaller ones and let him continue to breed.
Always looking down the road, genetics are a funny thing.
Great photo though.
Reasons I say that, here's a couple of the offspring of something similar where my dad is at.

You can set a table on top of this guy.

And personal Fav

And a few others

Skylar has a point. Several years ago we took 3 impressive bucks off my place; since then big bucks have been rare.
